Do people actually buy cars via spam email?

I find it hard to believe that anyone with any fraction of a brain would buy a new vehicle through a spam email, yet lately my spam filter has caught dozens upon dozens of "Check the new 2005 car prices!" emails (and auto-routed them into my "shit bin").

But whatever, nothing much surprises my anymore when it comes to how dumb some humans can be. And, if any of you are thinking of defending this, think about this.... every time you buy something via a spam email you are encouraging and supporting spammers. Better to search out websites directly for deals and look locally to spend your money I say.

You can sell anything on the internet. I'd send car emails to people with a lease that's almost up. It can't be impossible to target a potential car buying population when mailing.

I think people should encourage the civil use of spam rather than to completely dislike it for extremist like reasons.

you dont have to pass an IQ test to be able to use the internet, so yes, people actually do buy cars from spam emails.
