Has Anyone Ever Taken or is Taking Wellbutrin SR?
 

I have some and was going to start taking it to help in my attempt to quit smoking.

Anyone ever used it?

stay away from that shit....seriously

I'm on the full dose for depression. Fun stuff. But I wouldn't recommend it just for smoking cessation. It will screw ya up if you're not already screwed.

i tried it for quitting smoking, terrible results

the dose they give you for quitting isn;t enough to fuck with your mind, but it does make you feel like shit after about a week...and it doesn't make you not want to smoke, it just makes cigarettes taste like shit...it alters your taste for a lot of stuff actually

it gave me a sickly feeling too when I tried to smoke

you know that feeling/taste you get going when you only sleep for an hour one night, and about 10pm the next night your body starts feeling like shit and everything tastes bad and you don't wanna eat but you know you have to? it is like that

I took Zyban to help when I was quitting smoking for the millionth time. It did cut my urge; although, I still wanted to smoke.

As an adjunctive, it helps. It's not the cure, though.

tried it... didn't work.
cut my smoking considerably the first week... but after that it just made me extremely irritable.
sometimes, i go 4-5 hours without a smoke.. others I wanted to light an entire pack up at once..
