(Traffic Give Away)..What converts best for you?
 

Hey folks, we're looking to roll out a new site in the next month and we thought it would be a nice little contest to get feedback from everyone on what type of site to do. So here's the deal:

Let us know what type of site or sites are converting best for you. What do you do best with promoting? The contest is this:

1) 20th & 30th post ANSWERING THE ABOVE QUESTION (not just babble posts) gets 10,000 unique hits from our www.web1000traffic.com.

2) Best "essay" describing why a certain type of site converts best for you also gets 20,000 unique hits from Our www.web1000traffic.com ? I?ll be the judge on the best reply.

High defintion content sites convert the best for me, perfectgonzo and XBangCash have them for example, where the video is not pixelated, and is very clear.

Espiecally HugeRackClub from xbc, the high quality content combined with the tour not giving the surfer too much content has led to 132 : 1 first page unique ratios for me. I'm loving it.

AdultActionCash is a way awesome convertor ! I was converting at 1:300 Raw hits and thought this was pretty good. However, I was sick for a couple months and all my traffic had stopped. What didn't stop however was the signups... Thats right I had recieved like 20 signups (including a 50$ promo day) even though there was only appox 4 hits during that time ! show me another market where ratio of hits to joins is 5:1 :thumbsup

I belive you should integrate adult dating with adult content and webcam access between members. Not only will this cover many markets and convert great with the typical net traffic, but also has incredible viral possibilities when properly marketed.. With something like "Get your first month free if you tell 5 of your friends!" and some integrated tools to allow these people to easily tell there friends (ie: have a multi email script where they insert there friends emails and maybe something like a comedy video ( most viral ) you can be seeing huge success and members in no time at all !)

People will just wait to answer, until that post comes up...

Why a certain type of site converts best for me?

To answer that question one must first understand my market. I currently have a website, www.onlyprettygirls.com which is primarily a teen based website and hot girl site. Therefore,my audience and the surfers on my site come primarily for Teen Pics both Action and Softcore. Once you realize your audience you must then realize what site/sponsor would convert best with
the demographic of people given to you (basically your surfers).

Now, as for me personally I have been running my site for about 3 months now and have gone through about 6 different sponsors, testing each one out and finding the conversion ratios for each. Now, I can tell you that the only sponsor that was really bad was MediumPimpin (not to disrespect them,
it just wasn't our audiences favorite niche). MediumPimpin was more of the glamour girl/pornstar niche (that was the one we were promoting) and that didnt do very well on our site. However, sponsors like FlashCash which provide more of a girl next door look to their sites (allbigcocks.com) is more
of what converts with our audience.

So you see, finding what your surfer really likes is the key to finding a successful site to promote.

we've got a few really good responses and i want to thank you guys for your feed back on what sells best for you ... I am a bit disappointed that more people wouldn't take the time to say what they think would sell best for them or that there is a shortage of in the industry ... we're going to spend the money to build the site you may as well put a vote in for what you can make the most money with ...

and just so ya know ..i'm not giving traffic to a bullshit post ... I'll spread it out over the guys that post quality before i do that ...

While a foolish consistency may the hobgoblin of little minds, it's the consitency of the marketing of the final sales product which is more important than which particular niche or product you have when the issue is final conversions.

You can get good TGP placement, a great tour page, and great content and still not convert or retain if every piece of the puzzle doesn't have "it's head and it's ass in the same place". I'll give two opposite (if slightly rediculous) examples to try to prove my point. Let's say you get decent (not great) placement on TheHun. You link to a very well made tour page with a hot, well lit and well shot babe, which links to your site which has a great design and wonderful content of hot babes. Except the wording on the link at TheHun says "Hottie does big guy". the tour page has a very young looking blond girl who is having sex with a well hung guy. This links to your site which has lots of very young looking girls (and they are all severely hot looking), mostly doing solo work. Will this convert? Probably not too well. But why? You go decent placement; you did a good tour; you did a great design; you have great content........ but the probelm is that the thing which first attracted the customer ISN'T WHAT YOU'RE SELLING.

Second case: you get the same decent placment on TheHun. The text link says "Big Black chick blows Ghost man". It sends the surfer to a tour page with a hefty black woman with a cute face who's blowing a guy so white you think he's an albino. this is hooker up to your website which has a whole bunch of larger black womn with pretty faces who are blowing a cast of guys who look like they've never seen daylite. I'll bet this converts reasonably wwell, even if the tour, the site, etc aren't nearly as slick as the first case. Why? because the guy who's hunting down the line of text links at TheHun who picked out that particular link to click actually saw what he wanted to see, and then go directed to a site with a whole lot more of what he wanted.

I always see folks saying how this or that is "the most important thing", whether it's correctly lighting the scene, having the right length trailers, having a certain type of design, etc, etc, etc. But I'll throw an old sales expression at you:

Every buyer makes the "buy decision" for the same reason. Do you know what that reason is?

THEIR REASON.

A corollary to the consitency aspct, though, is aso the "understand what your niche is about" aspect which is all too often overlooked these days. i see a lot of sites which are supposed to be niche sites, but it's clear the guys putting together the content "don't get" the niche. it's clear that they've never rubbed one out to this type of material, and don't understand what about it get's the surfer off. So what you get is sites which are supposed to be in some niche, but are basically just another striaght sex site with a certain prop thrown in. For example, I've seen what are supposed to be "pantyhose" clips which simpy start off with some girl in pantyhose, and 30 seconds into the clip she's naked and fucking - and if you simply cut off the first 30 seconds no one would be able to differntiate the product from any other straight scene.

Understand why your customers are paying $30 a month for whacking material, what is going to get their dicks hard, when they are going to put their hard earned $ on the table, where they are going to look to find the things that they want, and how to deliver what they want to them.

That's what will convert... not any magic beans*

* i.e. a specific type of content which converts for someone else.
