This Doesnt Look Good For Latona..
http://www.avnonline.com/index.php?P...tent_ID=223657
Hmm.. Didnt he just launch a pawn service? Regards, Lee |
Digipawn is a registered pawn shop in the state of Georgia. You don't know what your talking about. This has nothing to do with Digipawn, Rick Latona or legitmate business. Are you trying to get thread views by using his name Lee? :321GFY

LOL.. Hello Lee....
I remember when I was moderator here at GFY I banned Lee's Ass.... Now he's back..... Good or bad... Anyhow for some reason I find em kinda funny now. Never serious, just funny.. Like a dancing bear.. |

You are saying, that a online pawn broker has nothing to do with that article? Did you even READ the article i linked to? A pawn broker / loan shark services clients, we're appropriating online sites that didnt have a legitamte right to in order to make money. Forgive me if i am wrong but, does Ricks service pay people money based on their websites / domains values? You still dont see how this could relate to Ricks business model? Regards, Lee |

Are you so stupid that you cant see how this could potentially affect Ricks business model long term? Regards, Lee |

No where in that article does it say online pawn shop or any references to pawn shop. Are you trying to say that Rick is a loan Shark. |

Irrespective of whether he is licensed in Georgia. You think we dont have any .jp webmasters in the industry? Regards, Lee |

You don't know anything about Rick's business model. |

Lee man, did you read the article? The article you linked was about a company that automatically signed people up when they clicked on the page anywhere:
"Unlike other similar sites that confirm the users' intent to register," said the Daily Yomiuri, "clicking anywhere on the firm's sites causes the message 'membership registration is completed' to appear, from which time the user is required to pay fees." Also, they are accused of extorting site members: "Nakanishi is suspected of being involved in the loan-sharking operation and applying such techniques ? including cell-phone accounts under false identities for demanding payments and bank accounts under different names to handle the monies ? to extort site members and to keep themselves from being detected, according to those reports. " Finally, the lending company was investigated because the cops suspected they were lending money above legal interest rates: "The money-lending company was searched in July 2003 because it was suspected that they were charging interest as high as 20 times above the legal interest limit, the reports added." Now, how the fuck does that article have ANYTHING to do with Rick Latona or a digital pawn shop? Besides that fact that Japan is closer to the Philipines then America, I see nothing related at all. |
What the fuck does this have to do with Rick? That's like saying someone was arrested in Amsterdam for ripping off customers is bad for a company in Canada.
|
LOL. Lee is such a smoking retard. It pains me to think that people like him are actually out there in the world.
|
Seems you are all alone on this one Lee. Nice try though.

// right ... they got the CC information out of the blue ? |
I think they are referring to the signup page - if you clicked cancel, the signup still went thru. Or something. It's rather confusing, nearly as confusing as Lee's logic that connects this article to an online pawn site...

I wonder if someone pawns their sites/services to Rick, if they cant afford the payments, what they would do to get their sites / domains back. Regards, Lee |
Do you think Rick is the only one that has this kind of business going? Why assume that he's a criminal just because he's in the same business... Not very cool Lee :(
DH |
Lee, funny as always

Nothing to see here folks ... Rick is not a loan shark , nor does he live in japan , nor does his site have anything to do with either. Its actually libel to insinuate someone is doing something illegal..
|
lee needs to fucking be banned again
|
dude Rick Latona is not doing anything like that, you have a large misunderstanding about what digipawn is about
|
wtf does this have to do with rick? every three days i see a thread that talks shit about this dude. is it his massive drive to be successful coupled with his attitude that some people just can't accept? threads like these should get people banned. its almost the same fucking thing that mens n-eech tried to do with that bullshit shaving thread they started. hundreds of people will read the thread title. not everyone will actually read the article. but what you have left is people who will always assume that rick was in trouble and involved in some pawn shop scams. guilt by wrongful association. this kind of thing is in bad taste and obviously done to damage someones name and reputation in a false manner. in a biz where all you have is your name and rep, you should be held accountable if you falsely damage someones name.

hey Lee,
wanna buy a link back from a pr10 porn site? http://www.gofuckyourself.com/showthread.php?t=444108 HAHAHAHAHAHAHA fucking idiot |
Loan Shark is not a Pawn Broker!!! Big no Huge difference really. I worked in a pawn shop for 4 years.
There are rules that govern pawn brokers! Very precise rules. |
duhhhhhhhhhhh nice one.

i'm kinda curious as to why you care about rick's business model. does it concern you financially?
|
please die Lee.
|
On a serious note...
Being an ex pawnbroker I wonder how this transfers to the online market. Usually the interest caps are set at the state level. Being an online venture I wonder if you have to abide by the state laws where the site is hosted or if there is some federal standard for this... |
