Downtime 04-25-2005 03:22 PM

we're at the top of the food chain, why the fuck would i want to give up meat?

jawanda 04-25-2005 03:23 PM

I don't eat meat or poultry, just fish ... not because I think it's wrong to do so, but out of personal preference.

no but i do eat a lot of veggies and fruit, but sometimes i mix in chicken with the veggies and put it on rice. so i guess i eat more healthy than the average person, but not a full vegatarian.

I try to limit my consumption of red meat to once or twice a month, and when I do, I prefer it's organically raised. One of the main reasons I won't go 100% vegetarian is I love fish and an occassional steak. There are also pretty convincing studies that show occasional red meat consumption is 'necessary' for your brain's health due to some proteins you can't get elsewhere...

Same here, just seafood. My reason is because of all the steroids and antibiotics used in the meat mass production process and rampant well documented bad handling (all along the way; at the farming, processing, shipping and supermarket levels).

Sosa 04-25-2005 04:55 PM

give me a hamburger or nice big steak any day.

Someone here once said that "vegetables are not food, vegetables are what food eats" and I live by that.

Sean 04-25-2005 05:39 PM

"odd" to say to chicks at the bar after midnight...LOL.. IM like no.. he sat there and preached about it, how we should not eat meat.. we are not meant to do this.. blah blah blah... My gf had to take my hand and lead me to the dancefloor to shut him up :)..LOL.. :1orglaugh I dont have anything agains being a vegetarian.. I know a few people that are.

Pornwolf 04-25-2005 05:59 PM

I go for up to 21 days twice a year as a vegetarian to clean myself out. You'd be surprised how your body feels when you take meat out of your diet. It doesn't kill you.

reynold 04-26-2005 05:20 AM

as child i hate to see animals being killed for food but i have overcome that feeling. i realized i can't live without meat.

Vitasoy 04-26-2005 05:35 AM

Brad Gosse 04-26-2005 05:37 AM
