Wal-Mart to restrict sales of cold medicine
 

Because an ingredient in cold medicine is used to make methamphetamine, wal-mart will place all OTC cold medicines behind the counter. You will have to ask a pharmacist for access to these medications.

The good news is that you can still buy a gun at wal-mart no questions asked.

most of the stores around here have all the allergy medicine and anything that has ephedra ( sp?) in it under lock and key. Some drug stores make you sign a form when you buy that stuff. It's pretty wild.

we haven't been able to buy anything containing ephedra in it over the counter in quite some time.. you can only buy so many milligrams in a certain period and all pharmacies are required to keep a log and see photo ID of anyone purchasing it

it is actually the only store i knew that does that. at last they are taking a good step.
