Domain forwarding and SE's
So lets say im forwarding bigdickblog.com to bigdick.blogspot.com.
I have several keywords on the blog which google and yahoo pick up. Will the se's notice i have a domain forwarding to it? If they spider the .com thats forwarding to the blog will it get listed? Also godaddy offers domain masking as a forwarding option. Should i do this? Should i insert the metatags and stuff in the masking option? |
google should, i've had a few domains redirected to mine, and get listed for keywords on the site redirected to

google is smarter than you are
I wouldn't try to play games unless you know what you're doing |

It will get indexed by Google at least. I have often noticed that Google is indexing other people's redirects as having the exact same content as the sites of mine they are redirecting too.
Google is doing this intentionally, because a domain forward is actually a command in the response header, and GoogleBot wouldn't care one bit about it unless it was specifically programmed to obey it. |
why not just use blogger.com and host it at your own domain?
