I need some GFY advice please.
 

My g/f from NJ called me lastnight and told me her 4year old had killed her hamster. She said she didn't know if the hamster had been thrown againt the wall or she had squeezed it.

I told her that I thought that if she had done that it then she had a serous problem, she then asked if I ment superstitiously. I said no that serial killers start out killing small animals.

She spent the last bit of time back tracking and telling me how she watches the little girl with the hamster amd that she 4 so she doesn't know any better. I was very upset at the time and told her I had to go. I don't know what to say to her.

I think she killed the hamster because she was molested, about a week and 1/2 ago they let this guy (who I have told them to watch around the kid, but was ignored) well it turns out he gave her a bath with out my g/f asking him to. I think he did something to her that night but my g/f said I didn't know what I was talking about.

So GFY what should I say to her? Should I just not talk to her?

Why do you think the little girl got molested... because she killed the animal or other signs?

Well part of it is the killing of the hamster and the other is my gut telling me. No way would I want that guy giving my kid a bath, you can see it in his eye's you know what I mean?

1.) i don't think your friend needs you to basically tell her that her kid is becoming a murderer.... thats probably why she started backtracking... how would you have felt if someone said that to you about your kid?

2.) just thinking someone you don't know looks like a child molester does not really give you the right to label them that... and then assume they molested someone... those are pretty strong allegations for no proof whatsoever....

3.) i think you should just be there for your friend.. and maybe give her some constructive critism on how to deal with the situation.. i.e.. look into asking a professional about why the kid might have done it and if its something that you should really be concerned about and how to go about dealing with it..

Don't worry, my little cousin killed his bunny with his hands by squeezing it.. he was around 4 years old. Simply didn't know that much love would kill the bunny. It's probably not a sign that the kid was molested, but don't immediately make a decision.. watch the kids behavior for some time then make your decision

Hopefully the little girl didn't get molested, and also hopefully the killing was an accident.

Well it's true, do you think that serial killers don't kill small animals first? I don't have any kids and I sure don't want any.

I do know this guy why would you think I didn't? Why would he give her a bath? I have SEEN how he look's at the little girl and how he picks her up and there were red flag's.

I think you're jumping to a lot of conclusions. If the little girl has killed multiple animals, then I would see how it could have established a pattern of odd behaviour, but she killed ONE hamster. It's probably an accident. She may have hugged it too tight or squeezed it in her hand too tight not knowing how much pressure would kill it.

And as far as the bath, unless you've talked to the little girl about it, then you're again jumping to conclusions. However, if I was the mother, I wouldn't let strange men bathe my little girl.

You're right about the whole serial killer and starting off with animals thing. People who are cruel to animals are also cruel to humans.

I don't know this little girl's history enough to really speculate on her behavior and I hope she didn't get molested, but if she was purposely being cruel to the animal, then yeah that is a cry for help and attention.

I wouldn't say anything to your friend about you suspecting she was molested but ask questions if you feel that strongly about it. I don't know what I would do. Kids make mistakes in judgement... they don't know how much damage they could do to a small animal. It could have been an accident... or it might be more. There's no way of knowing just based on this... so in conclusion, I don't know. :Oh crap

well its like no way to know what this really was about but It will be a good idea to talk with the kid and try to find out what happen or why she did this ...

if you're really that worried about the girl just call Family Services and let them sort it out.

Went through this with my youngest son.

He held a baby chick one day and held it so tight he killed it.

2 months later he was playing with a lighter and burned 3 bedrooms out of the house last summer.

My mother in law freaked out and said we had the devils child and we had to start him on counseling. She was afraid he was starting a phsycotic path.

So after a year of doctors testing this kid we learned what he did was very normal for kids to do.

Afer spending thousands on doctors the results were:

1. he has a high IQ and is highly curious.
2. he started the fire because he's a kid and he didn't know any better.
3. he killed the chick because he was afraid the chick would fall so he held onto it tightly to prevent that not knowing the results would be killing the chick.

So to hear a 4 yo killed a hamster to me it's not so unusual. Maybe have her checked ... but in doing so be careful your not opening a pandora's box and telling the kid she will get special attention if she kills another animal ... because thats the real way serial killers start. They look for attention and when they get the wrong attention they continue looking for it.

If this was an isolated incident I wouldn't make much of it.

Now if you have fears this kid was molested thats a seperate incident all together. Keep the inceidents seperate and have the girl checked. Don't make a big deal of it until you know whether she has or not. If she has ... then it's time for blood from the mother fucker who did it. If she hasn't then all she should know is she went to the doctors for a normal checkup. Don't plant shit in her head and steal her childhood.
