That would suck, since not everyone is click your link when they see it...

CPM bidding: a new way to generate revenue

With site-targeted advertising, advertisers set a maximum CPM bid - that is, the price they are willing to pay for every thousand impressions ? and pay on a per-impression basis. This means that, unlike pay-per-click ads, you'll earn revenue each time a CPM ad is displayed on your site.

For every eligible impression, both pay-per-impression ads and pay-per-click ads compete in the same auction. Our technology will automatically display the highest performing ads on your pages.

would be nice if they added it to adsense too

I would not pay for google impressions... their PPC does not perform well at its current pricings.

Could be a good revenue stream though is they include it in adsense.

That's not a rumor. I got their letter today.

But before you jump to conclusions and start thinking about how to cheat. Advertisers will have the option now to choose WHERE TO SHOW THEIR ADDS.

with the new feature, you can choose on wich site you're going to pay per impression.
