amex harvesting whois or godaddy selling data
I recieved an application for a AMEX credit card today in the postal mail under a fake company name that i used to register a domain @ godaddy.com. I only used this co. name one time on the domain that i registered and never anywhere else. Are cc companies actually harvesting whois data or is it that godaddy is a data miner that sells their customer info for profit??

they have an affiliate program.
spammers.... :Oh crap |
Probably harvesting. I receive 5-10 credit card apps from AmEx to CapitolOne a month, as well as Domain name renewal forms (only $95 a year!! wow!!), car insurance, etc. All to my name and the company name registered under my domains.

Probably just harvesting but makes you wonder

Do you realize that you just admitted to registering a domain name with fake info on a chat board??? This has fast become a no no...
