some are planned, out. others are just slight of hand. the guy who washes the windows where i work does a magic trick every time he comes in. hes does shit that blows my mind. but even he admits it just requires lots of practice.

His levetation trick has been proven. His biting a quarter trick has been proven. alot of his tricks have already been shown how to do. It really pissed me off when i found all that out to. I thought david blaine was the next messiah until i found out how he did half his tricks.

See him bring that fly back to life. That reading minds thing and making the name show up on him and cars. Fucking wild stuff.

he's been on TLC for the past week at 10pm showing his TV specials...cool stuff :)

He does really simple tricks but his demeanor and presentation is what has propelled him to the status he's had.

David Blaine isn't quite so impressive once you know he uses camera tricks and careful editing for many of his tricks...

some of his tricks are very cool. One thing for sure though the guys in getting a lot of hot chicks. He was on howard stern awhile back and had Josie Moran ( she's a super hot model) with him. They were dating and he was talking about how she is always naked when they are at home and she only wants to vacation where she can go naked on the beach. He dated fiona apple for a while, was Madonna's fuck buddy for a while and has been with a bunch of other famous hot chicks. He was teaching howard how to pick up chicks. It was funny and wild at the same time. the guy is smooth.

I have several simple bar tricks that wow them every time. The one that freaks people the most is the levitating dollar, which is probably the simplist one I know, but if you play it up right jaws hit the floor :upsidedow

Actually, there is a gadget involved, but the effect is you borrow a dollar, crumple it up and lay it on your hand and it starts to rise. You then pull your hand back and it stays suspended in mid-air and you can pass your hands all around, above and below it and even back up several feet away from it. Then you reach out and get it, uncrumple it and hand it back to them. :thumbsup
