The release date is hopefully early summer, nothing solid yet though.

lol. in a few videos they launch rpgs and the dudes go flying 50 feet into the air..

one thing that bothers me is that there's going to be very little blood / gore.

Bah, typical, trying to get a lower rating so kiddies can buy it I guess. Hopefully someone releases a blood and gore mod. :winkwink:

Battlefield 2 looks pretty sweet though, gonna have to watch those vids

definitely, i want limbs to fall off, bodies to be mangled with giant chunks blown apart. and when someone gets shot in the leg they either limp or fall down on the ground

that is going to be the best game evar!!

I love flying copters around in Battlefield Vietnam.... the copter only multiplayer games are a blast....

Battlefield Vietnam wasn't all that impressive graphically and I could barely run it at high quality...

the specs for this game are supposed to be:

So the preferred machine would be around:

3 Ghz CPU
1gig + RAM
256 MB vid card

exactly my system....I think BF:Vietnam was just poorly coded...(lots of games are.....Farcry for example... could run much smoothly on smaller machines if it was coded better)...

thats my system too except for the 256 MB card... i need to get one of the newer cards.

bah I need a new one too...I have an old ATI Radeon 9550...(yeah it's 256mb but it sucks)

see, your card would probably kick mine's ass even if it has half the memory...
