Need Hosting Suggestions: 45+Megs Need Who are the biggest and the best ?
 

Looking for a VERY reliable hosting company. This is what is important to me:

1) unmetered/unlimited transfer rate up to 45mb ( will need to burst higher)
2) reliability
3) response time for support
4) cost (doesnt have to be the most expensive nor the cheapest)
5) uptime
6) location (located in US)

So who do the big boys use? Who do you feel would be the best to meet the above requirements?

hey i don't want to sound like a jerk, so i just want to catagorize my input a bit. i have a good sense of security regarding our racks and space provisioning and appreciate the localization of our bandwidth. i don't want anyone touching my servers or hardware and am paranoid. for mirroring though we have no choice than to make use of non-local bandwidth and we are careful about what data is present at those facilities. what works for us might not work for others of course and a good trusted host far away from you can work finely. :2 cents:

Tech support is all over the web or the phone these days. You can drop ship your gear and have it racked by the on-site staff. :)

Most quality hosts are located within a decent Data Center ( equinix.com ) or other carrier hotel in a major metro area, have a staff and more than enough 3rd parties that can provide remote assistance from all over the globe and have toll free 24-7 tech support.
