Jumped a fence and went to a rocky beach by a place called "crying babies," its birds that sound like babies crying and people dying, its fucking strange being out there at 11pm. ANyway, these fuckers were swooping at our faces and shit. Crazy. :thumbsup

Nah, I live in Waikiki, which is like living in Japan. But outside Waikiki is pretty nice, ate desserrrt here tonight - http://www.mandarin-oriental.com/hot...=1&pResvFlag=0 - then trespassed and drove around. Good times.

its like living in japan how? i'm really curious as to what the lifestyles like over there.... hows the crime rate? any gangs? etc etc

It varies really. In Waikiki its all Japanese tourists and shit, everywhere else its pretty laid back and mellwo. The crime rate is like any major city, don't be stupid and you won't have a problem, but crystal meth is a big problem (one of my good friends has been to prison a few times for it, and he has a lot of friends in the same boat, put it this way - I am really glad their my friends and not my enemies), and people on that are fucking crazy. There is the Yakuza (Japanese Mafia), Korean Mafia, and some drug gangs or whatever. SOme places you don';t want to go if you're non Hawaiian, or unless you're with some Hawaiians who are known (most Hawaiians know other Hawaiians). It's pretty cool living here though, but I';ve lived here for 5 years and am starting to wonder if I should move on. But I tried that before and ended up coming back, you can't really leave this place once you;ve lived here for any length of time. :2 cents:

yakuza in hawaii.... wierd...... do they walk around casually showing their entire tattoo (the shirt tattoo) .. or do you have to have an eye for it to even be able to recognize them ? ... no biker gangs in hawaii?

I haven't had any run ins with the Yakuza, but I have the Korean Mafia, and that was scary fucking shit. It's pretty easy to recognize people who you don't want to fuck with, they don't flaunt it, but you know who they are.
