How many emails in a 2.1 gig text file?
 

I have this listmotor program counting them but it's been running for over 10 minutes and I don't know if it's working. Also, if anyone knows of a program that will open a text file that big let me know.

Well you figure 2.1GB is equal to 2254857830 bytes.
And one letter is equal to 1 byte.
So an average email [email protected] is 19-20 letters so about 20 bytes

You divide 2254857830 by 20 =112,742,891

Now that i think of it. 100M+ Emails is a little too much
