LOL... I just phoned him at work to tell him the good news... it turns out he only has 60 shares and made about $20 - lol - it was a limited public offer..... there go my holiday plans

If you read the whole story perhaps its not such a great deal :2 cents:

"More than seven million customers used Lastminute last year, making transactions worth more than £990m.

However, the company is loss-making, racking up a loss of £77m in 2004. On Thursday, the company said total transactions over the past six months had risen 57% to £512m."

no flattering numbers.....

I still remember my sabre commands from when I was a travel agent..I used to love the hidden bit of the sytem where travel agents around the world bitch about their clients and tell amussing stories about their pets.
