Why are .tv domains so much?
 

Am i missing out on something here?

..maybe they are specially made for tv channels...
but i would really prefer .com which is everyones preferred domain..

Yes, they are made especially for tv channels. You can't get one unless you own a tv station.

And since .com is for commercial, you can't own one unless you have a business.
