Paycom - 30 days to respond!

It took 30 days to her to respond to my e-mail.

And before you tell me to call them, as a matter of fact I did call them 3 times with the same bullshit "She don't take calls". I told the guys to inform her to check the mail. Wtf is that?

Who's she? They have more than 1 person on staff...

You must not be from the U.S. You should get a semi-automatic rifle and go to their offices. That's the way we handle customer service, here.

What's the deal with Paycom?

Sorry for the non sequitir post, but while we're discussing Paycom, let me relate a recent incident. (Recent = last week).

They sent $2000 in sales that was supposed to go to my merchant account, to a different merchant account, a total stranger, another webmaster. Can you imagine how furious I was when Paycom told me: "We sent $2000 to another webmaster, sorry, here's his number, you should call him and get him to cut you a check.". What the fuck! Sweet customer service.

I did end up speaking to this other webmaster who incidentally called me first. Cool guy. He said that this type of thing has happened to him THREE times in the last year. Again, what the fuck!

Paycom finally decided it would be in their best interest to wire me the money. But guess what, not only did they take out their standard $0.85 per transaction management fee, but they took out something else that I can't calculate. Whatever that something else is sure as hell doesn't match up with what I pay in merchant fees, which is $0.45/per and 4%.

What a kick in the face. What are they thinking: =>"Sorry to fucking lose your cash and be so unprofessional, to make up for it, we're still going to take our fees plus some amount for doing a poor fucking service for you. Oh yeah, and when you email us to try and figure out the fees we took, we're not going to email you back. That's what we do. Have a nice day."

I'm sure hundreds of you have never had any problem with Paycom. Good for you. I just thought I'd add my two cents.

Apologies for this being no help to thread starter.

2 things here that I'm curious about...

First off, who is she? I've never heard of reps that don't take calls over there... I'm sure that from a service standpoint, management would be more than happy to know where they have problems or issues, so by all means do let them know. No company is perfect but 30 days is quite a long time...

As to the 4% deal, wow. Never heard of anyone getting 4% for high risk low volume, if you don't want your account, let me know, I'll buy it from you ;)

4% is pretty standard for non-offshore high risk merchant accounts nowadays. Please note this is not for 3rd party billing. Just call around an getcha some quotes. I guess Visa finally gave us all some slack and is no longer requiring the $2500 high risk fee and other crazy rates.

Again, the high rates still apply to off-shore.

As do high rates for 3rd party like ccbill.

Her name is Sue and she "handle" change of creditcards over there. It seems she fixed it now, but still 30 days to respond...hum

Sosa 05-16-2005 01:49 PM

why did you wait for a reply for 30 days? I would have called and emailed before waiting that long.
