Best way to make money with dating programs?

I've tried dating programs a couple times now, just sending miscellaneous traffic. A link here or there. Always did terrible. Wasn't worth sending the traffic at all.

Guess dating isn't my thing. What do I need to do to make it work? Create a nice looking hub with niche dating sites? Create a multi-page free site endorsing the dating site? Regular links just don't work for me.

Whoever is willing to offer me GOOD advice will get my referral.

Sly,

I can probably offer some advice and tips form my experience.

1) Which order different traffic types convert best in (atleast for our affiliates):

- targeted dating traffic (SE, PPC, mail, dating directories, advertorial/review sites)
- networked feeder sites
- adult SE / adult mailer
- adult keywords PPC
- adult site member areas
- TGP traffic
- other/blind/misc. traffic

2) Most of our best converting affiliates have gotten their own partner site. This is especially effective if your traffic comes from your own established website. Adding a "personals.mydomain.com" site is very easy with our automated partner program and offers you awesome flexibility, from design, to customizing emails and even pricing points!

If you are just throwing links around here and there, try to focus them more. Maybe instead of having 20 links to diff sites on your page, have only 5-10 but make them more obvious.

Hopefully that helps you out a bit :thumbsup

Does anyone know where you can get hold of any dating software, just in case I wanted to start up a dating site?

Here's a very good advice. I've sent trffic to almost every dating program out there (not huge amounts of traffic but enough to see whta's working and what doesn't).

The one that I had most luck with is AAC, you can't really classify them as a dating program, but I strongly suggest you send your traffic to them anyway. One thing you should be aware of is that there's always a lag, it might take 3-4 days untill you see sign-ups starting to come in, and you can get the real feel about the program.

If you decide to take my advice choose the 'per sign-up' option, try sending 1000+ hits a day for a week, and see how it works for you.

Please note: I send traffic to sites that covert BETTER than AAC but those are niche sites, the traffic I send to AAC is unfiltered traffic. What I'm trying to say is that if you run a niche site you better promote a site that fits into that niche, but if you have a site where the traffic is not filtered you'll most probably make more money promoting AAC.

Well, whatever you decide to do, good luck ;)
