Does the instability of our profession ever bug you? My income can have some pretty broad swings month to month. It gets old always looking for the next shoe to drop.

Haha.. I just got into SEO this year and I am doing about 5K a month in it alone. For me the instability is why I am growing, and the next shoe to drop is usually a one foot infront of the other motion towards another $1,000 check from a sponsor... But I have noticed some trippy ass shit.

One network I created got banned outright by Google. I was about to drop it when Yahoo picked it up and started generated about $1200 a month. Now MSN just picked it up for about another $700 a month. Another network I made went straight to google and MSN for $1000 a month but Yahoo hasn't sent a single surfer. Even from page 120. Nothing. I figure that 2 months from now Yahoo could be the biggest sender of traffic. Shit doesn't make a lick of sense... I just make shit and then move on to more shit. I found that if I try to spend time making any sense out of shit, I loose cents every second I spend twidling away at it.

Thats the way to do it....build one and keep moving...

With SEO if you keep tweeking you WILL eventually get it wrong!!!

Constantly, especially if you're in blackhat! That's why I love PPC SE's, its much more stable in the long term of things.

I agree with V_RocKs. Every time I try making sense of something, somewhere another curve ball comes in and I'm left thinking "what the fuck just happened?"

My non-top listings make a considerable amount of sales, so I don't really worry about it too much. Just keep building.

Its the only reason Im still in bussiness. Traffictrades involves to much cheating and asskissing. If you do a great design, end enough content, you will get good google PG

But those that try to cheat SE only foole themself - in the end, you will get cought.

I keep building small sites, and keep updating them. The traffic is GREAT quality - the best ratio EVER...

if you dont update or backlinks change, you will get sandboxed = NO traffic

thats why i never used trade scripts only hardlinks.

Yep this is about how it goes. the only real cool thing is when an old site comes back and just turns some cash. But otherwise it is build build build.

Yeah.. but hardlink trading on a new tgp means you will grow very slow...

I can create a TGP in about 1 week that will get about 20K in traffic and start having an instant income. Or hardlink trade a new TGP in about 2K in traffic over a two week period and have sales trickle in....

Or drop TGP's altogether and just do SEO... Get a few hundred in hits on each thing you make (for life?) and have instant income.

When I did TGP's only it was $19. In February it was $27. Now I just gotta figure out how to sell penis extenders... Make it $175 per sale...
