Blog with gallery option?
 

Is there a good blog software that also has a module/plug-in for a gallery of pictures?

Can you guys point me to it? Just looking for a simple blog software to manage a small website and figured a blog might be the best way to do it. Something where I can create like 5 sections and post information in them, then have a seperate gallery area where I can create albums and name the albums, description and then maybe light text under images.

Anything you guys/gals know of please let me know.

Best bet us probably wordpress with the Gallery2 mod. Wordpress is free and allows pages so it can be almost used as a simple CMS. You can get gallery2 here: http://holosite.com/software/wp-gallery2.html and wordpress at http://wordpress.org of course.

That looks hosted, I want it on my own server.
