Brad Mitchell from Mojohost: His Wife Is Having Open Heart Surgery Today
 

I wanted to let Brad's friends and clients know that he is at the hospital with his wife, Melissa.

She is being operated on today. Even though open heart surgery is serious, the procedure is performed daily and is optimism is very high.

I'll keep you updated on her progress when Brad calls to let me know how she's doing.

I saw the title of this thread and my heart skipped a beat....I could not imagine what that family must be going through right now. My thoughts are with the Mitchell's today and here's hoping that this procedure is as routine as it is supposed to be.

I know. When Brad told me about it, my heart skipped several, as both he and Melissa are very dear to me.

I didn't want to sensationalise or scare anyone; but, it seemed this was the most direct route to letting everyone know what's going on.

I hope they work Very carefully ...............

Not sure if I know Brad, but I DO wish his wife the best, to get through her surgery and recover fast and well. Been there done that and it's a great thing to feel some support in those times.

I've just received word that Melissa is out of surgery and is doing fine. I'll update as I get more info.....

Was this an emergency operation or planned? Just curious because wasnt he on the yacht last weekend?

They do things very differently these days than when I worked in hospitals. Not only is she out of intensive care, she's already moving around and is expected to be home by Monday...

Lookin' good and we're all relieved....though Brad is tired..he's elated and is so appreciative of all the good thoughts you've sent his way!
