At what point is a photograph not a photograph?

At what point is a photograph not a photograph?

In fact when is a model not a model?

This may sound silly, but with great art packages and extremely talented artists, I bet you could create porn artificially. By this I mean create a realistic looking babe, that looks like its been photographed yet, created on a computer.

By doing so, you avoid the need to comply by the 2257 law (I suspect).

Also if you photograph a babe, but then play around with the photograph, at what point is it no longer a photograph, and purely a digital image. I mean at what point would the 2257 law no longer apply?

The explanation I read said that the image can not be based on a human...

Then it is exempt.

If thats the case, then a cartoon would apply to the 2257 law.
