what do you want from YOUR adult web designer?

A friend of mine recently graduated from college as a Graphic Designer. He is really talented and has done a few adult design projects for me recently.

Since I have recently been involved with adult websites and web design, we decided to start a joint project - xDesignStudio.com :smokin

We would like to know how we can offer the best possible service by asking you (our potential clients) directly.

So I guess this is directed to anyone that has been fucked over before or if you simply want to voice your opinion: What do you DEMAND from your adult web designer?

This thread might prove to be helpful to ANYONE offering design services on this board, as long as we don't fuck it up too much. :winkwink:

We demand almost immediate contact back and forth....also quick service. Also we demand the .psds in case we need to make changes.

Excellent, thanks for the input.

There is too much designer already, you won't go far ;)

Bump for rez...

I disagree with the last line. They're are a shit ton of designers out there, but very few that are quick, even fewer that are reliable, and then ever fewer who can do they're own coding.

I'm glad to see a fellow designer taking a stab at a new endeavour, and wish you guys all the best.

Let me know if you ever need any help...

Being on time. Simple

Reliable! That means contact with me - don't disapear into a black hole. Updates on long term projects (again, email me - it's easy). And if you have to miss a deadline, please let me know BEFORE the deadline. Overall, I guess communication is the key.

Oh, one more pet peeve - when we're working through a new design - don't spend time (my money) cutting out and smoothing the edges of every picture. Show me a rough because if I don't like the direction you're moving in it's a waste of everyone's time.

Cyn (who has spent the last month working with a very good designer)

And even fewer who actually know how to make their designs sell. :)

You'd be pretty stupid to say the opposite. :winkwink:
