Juicy D. Links... in here, this will help you.

Juicy, I am not sure if you will see this or not...... but I have been in hell with my teeth as well, and am just now getting them all taken care of as well....... but I went forever with some of the most severe pain I could ever imagine. And here is what you do...... Take a few pieces of ice and put them in a baggy or something where they won't drip when they start to melt.... put this in the area between your thumb and first finger, in that web area between the two, and let it set on it for awhile. This sounds insane, but I seen it on a site somewhere with home remedies. What this does is freeze the nerve that sends the message to your brain that you have a toothache. It isn't permenant and you will have to keep "freezing it" as the feeling starts to come back. But TRUST me, this does work.... I have battled this problem for a long ass time, and I was about ready to go mad, but I seen this somewhere and tried it and it DOES work, hon. So give it a shot. I was going to put this in Lensman's thread when I seen it, but it's irrelevant to the issue at hand and I wanted to make sure you seen it. I am not insane, this will help you...... I promise it will. :winkwink: Feel better soon, babe. I know what you are going thru. |
hey Tam in between being a bitch i didnt think you would find time to post???
|
hey I wonder what else ice can do when you put it in the area between.... hmmmmm :1orglaugh

Actually I don't have a lot of time to post, but was reading the board, as I do DAILY.... and I seen this thread and wanted to help him out. A toothache is insane, and I know what he's going thru. LOL BUT being the bitch that I am, I guess I should have just laughed and not tried to help him? LMAO cherry... ice is a wonder drug, didn't you know this? lol |
Hi Tam :)
That is some good advice and it does work. |

Hi sweetie...... how have you been? :) It most certainly works. For some reason, my back teeth are wanting to go bad from the inside out, and there isn't a lot I can do with it or about it but work up the balls to go to the dentist and have them pulled one at a damn time...... as they go bad. Can't get any medicine in there and after awhile that damn advil doesn't work anymore. But this ALWAYS works for me. |
actually I've only used ice to treat burns, but now you've sparked my curiosity so I will probably look that up next time I am hurting somewhere. Thanks Tam. :)

It does a lot of things. Certain places you put it on your body will freeze certain nerves that trigger many different things. And I have to correct myself here, it wasn't something I seen online, I was watching it on TV one night.... on some educational channel or something like that. I am the queen of home remedies, because I hate taking pills for everything. I am too afraid of getting hooked on a bunch of pills, so I look for the best home remedies I can find.. LOL |
Another remedy is to go to a dentist. :thumbsup

Well of course, but this works til you get there. MY dentist is always booked and sometimes takes up to 2 WEEKS to get in there. LOL PLUS I wait til they HURT before I go because I hate dentists more than I hate giving birth...... YIKES!!! All those damn drills, they aren't my thang. :Oh crap |

I have problem teeth, no matter how much I brush or floss they still go bad from up under the gum. The dentist can't seem to get a hold on it. So I figure in another 10 years I will end up getting false ones. I hope things are going well for you now. :upsidedow |
