you were in the military and don't know how to spell "personnel" ??? :1orglaugh :1orglaugh

i also saw another post of yours in that 'rich' thread talking about your degrees with some funny spelling mistakes.

i don't know who you are (and yeah, i'm a nobody so go ahead with the ever so brilliant noob comeback :1orglaugh) but it seems you are not quite as smart as you think you are.

You have not seen me talking about my degrees...as I have a singular degree...an Associate Degree. Ever heard of typos?

FYI...in your post...you began a sentence with "you"...you began a sentence with "i" and "i" is used as "I" even if it were not at the beginning of a sentence.

Enough said...smart boy?

i don't use the shift key. no caps anywhere. it's a pain in the ass. :winkwink:

and personell is not a typo. personnek would be a typo. you just can't spell.

as for the degree(s).. i didn't pay too close attention to the details. i was laughing too hard at the spelling. i just remember you were trying to sound smart.

also, i'm not smart. pretty dumb actually, but i am not too stupid to know the proper use of 'too' and 'to' :winkwink: <-- study that.

Noted...thank you very much...maybe...just maybe...that is why I had less than an A in English when I was in school. If I run my posts through a spell checker...will that make your day?

blah, blah, blah. you admitted you can't spell. how is your reading comprehension?

i am not the spelling police. i don't care if you can't spell. he just wanted to sound smart and looked stupid. he also mentioned he was military personnel but couldn't spell personnel. if you were in the military for say 1 year, how often do you think you would see the word personnel?

i just think he's a liar. no big deal. i can't prove anything or even care to. just killing some time while breakfast is cooking.

:winkwink:

Bad shit happens in war. I am sick of the media making mountains out of molehills.

If they would actually do some research, and investigate the Geneva convention, as well as history of the past, you'd know that Iraqi's for the most part do not even follow the rules set by the UN/Geneva to begin with.

First off, they are dressed in every day street clothes, not uniforms (as outlined by international law) for war time.

Second, if you follow the rules, or rather precedent, laid out in Vietnam, the war in Iraq is not a declared war, and while fighters are not in uniform, they are technically not considered POW's. Hence rules and international laws would not apply.

These 24/7 new channels really need to do some research, and stop sensationalizing everything. They are nothing more than supermarket tabloids on cable.

Had I been your teacher, I would have had you flogged for your overindulgent and often incorrect use of the ellipsis.

Hmm...FYI...he was in the military...Airborne...just as I was...so he is familiar with personell/personel/personnel...and every other way military personnel spell personnel. But as I stated maybe to many rear PLFs knocked all of the "spell" out of us.

They came upon me since posting on GFY...as my use of punctuation was critized...as well as not using the enter key and paragraphing...run on sentences...spelling...improper use of grammar etc. etc. I am like jimmyf...I really do not give a fuck...so feel free to flog away.

CDSmith 05-28-2005 07:47 AM

What papers do you read we did declare war on iraq lol

Barefootsies 05-28-2005 09:42 AM

A declaration of war is passed by congress, and considered as such (World War I, & II).

Just because we are fighting a war (Gulf War, Vietnam, Afganistan, etc, etc) does not mean it's a declared war. Perhaps you'd like to bone up on your history.
