I want to watch Family Guy or even Simpsons repeats. I can't believe this shit.

I can't believe they put it on regular broadcast tv. They should have put it on foxnews where they'd have way more fans and not upset any programming.

think during the summer NBC and Fox will be putting nascar more on at nights, read that they had killer ratings everytime it was on. i don't watch however

Anyway, I'm with you. Never been into watching it on TV either. Round and round they go.... yay. I have a cousin who watches that shit religiously. I used to crash in their den when visiting years ago, and every morning that fucker'd wake me up by turning on the TV and blasting the Taladega five-fucking-hundred or some such shit. I have a lot of cousins..... one less wouldn't have hurt :D

A 2 minute blooper/highlight reel would be sufficient to sum up the action. No one in my family, that I know of, watches Nascar. Even my sister who lives on a military base in Georgia hasn't been converted over to the dark side yet.

It's generally no where near that bad. When they're at Talladega there are usually a lot of wrecks and cautions, but 22 is crazy. I got sick of watching it but I did flip it back over in time to see dumbass Nemechek hit the wall when he was about to win and Labonte throw his little tizzy. :1orglaugh

Just be prepared next year as this race is the same Sunday night before Memorial Day every year. Has been for years and will be for years to come. They will never run it during the day as they aren't going to go head to head with the Indy 500. If you like car racing it is great. F1 early in the morning then Indy then Charlotte. Woohoo!!!!

People that bash racing crack me up. Noone seems to understand the sport. "all they do is drive around in circles" Yeah, let me seen you drive 200MPH cramped inside a 120 degree car while having 42 other cars going 200MPH try to beat you for 4 hours. Keep in mind, they are driving 160 - 200 MPH for 4 - 5 hours straight.

Don't bash the people who like the sport. Not everyone is a "redneck". Some people just realise the sportsmanship that it requires. You certainly have the right to not like the sport, but don't act like everyone that likes it is a fucking moron.

Well seeing as your location is Ohio it makes sense that there is nothing better to do than watch cars drive around in circles for 4 hours.

Yeah man. I'm 12. I also have a sense of humor that you seem to lack. I guess I'm a bit too subtle and people don't pick up on it. Maybe its because you live in Ohio. I don't know. I'm sure there are lots of other reasons that may contribute to watching nascar aside from having nothing better to do. You may have been lead to believe, through brainwashing or other highly influential techniques, that it is exciting. Who knows?
