wow.. maybe we should setup a little private counseling group together?

Most gruesome... probably the fifth Brady Bunch reunion special. It was quite a horrific collision of 50's era idealized American nuclear family values and reaganite 80's Cold War materialism... A caustic gaudy amalgam that feeds on a culture's soul. The horror... The horror.
(stares blankly into space like Kevin Spacey in "Seven") LOL ;) )))) |

without a doubt it was that one where they had a cat in a cage, then dumped gas on it and lit it, then watched it burn to a crisp.

I have not seen any of the ones mentioned above or any others for that matter. Just reading what you guys are writing is giving me a bad feeling. :(

Sounds like "Please post a link" to me :thumbsup |
Being a former Firefighter, I have seen things up close and personal that are far more gruesome than most of the videos posted here.
|
nick berg beheading was pretty rough for me

Nick berg beheading, and the pig beheading (it kept on moving without a head)

I saw the Pearl video on CJ, and even hearing later that it might have been a fake only diminishes the impact so much.
But, in terms of personal experience -- once I was driving on a sunny afternoon on a Caribbean island with a hot chick, and money and everything going as "sunny" for me as the day was. All of a sudden there's a cloud of dust on the road in front of us and the traffic get's backed up -- but there are only 6 cars or so between our car and what's happened. When we reach the site of the dust cloud and drive by slowly we realize there's been a really bad traffic accident. Looked like a large flatbed truck has skipped over the divider from the other direction and hit several cars. One car was smashed against a palm tree. The driver was leaning out of the window, just slumped, and there was a long tendril of pink material hanging from his forehead. Another car looked like a giant pair of scissors had cut off the front. When we drove by there was a woman screaming -- just screaming really loudly with her head back and eyes closed. She was in the front seat, and I have no idea where her legs could have been because that part of the car was simply gone. I never drove recklessly again -- I can see the images (as you can tell from my description) like it JUST happened seconds ago. j- |

YARGH! Same here. Gruesome stuff. |
I've noticed an interesting trend in my own behavior. In the late 80s and early 90s, once a year or so, I would rent a couple of the Faces of Death videos and get a gross-out fix that lasted a whole year. Later on the Internet I'd get that morbid curiousity and head over to rotten.com and satisfy my sick fix. And that was ok for those who wanted to see it - they knew where to find it and it stayed put. But lately sick videos and pics have become so popular that they're everywhere! Today I go out of my way to avoid anything gross. I know I'm not the only one who has become this way too... :2 cents:
|
Of Course!! The Faces of Death videos, I forgot all about those! The first one, as usual, was the best. Fresh monkey brains, and the electric chair were on that one I think...along with some other good stuff too.

Btw I saw a video of a french flick some time ago here too wich was pretty disturbing (even though it was fake). It showed some fight between 2 guys and 1 guy was smashing the other guys head with a fire extensor (what do you call that???) in some arena. |
the passion of the christ when jesus was gettin his ass whipped

the majority of the footage was fake... i met the guy who produced it. he lives here in pattaya .. |
one of the worst i have ever seen was some pics in the net, some kind of obituary photos of the most famous people, who was killed or poisoned or asphyxiated. crazy shit
|
the boot - face - knive - blood vid

the pig being decapitated with the chainsaw
the chechen beheading |

blood and guts don't gross me out at all, it's the callousness of what's happening in that video and the sound.. |

I only ever made the mistake of watching 1 vid (the chechen decapitation)
disturbed me for days after and I vowed never to watch any of that shit again. The images still haunt me. I did manage around 15 secs of Nick Berg but closed it of before it got anywhere. Couldnt stand to watch it. Like someone else said in this thread - its not the blood n gore its the actually reality of what we can do to each other which is horrific. :( |
The Russian soldier getting his head sawed off by the Chechen soldier really shook me up. I haven't watched any decapitation videos since.
