Euro going down down down

ThumbLord 06-01-2005 12:23 PM

it will go up, do not worry !

Rinaldo 06-01-2005 12:25 PM

It's only going down becuas eof teh votes... whatever it will go back up it's a strong group of economies

Hinc 06-01-2005 12:29 PM

Only bad thing is.
Euro will come back up, markets go up and down due to day-to-day events and inbuild hysteria.

But in the long run, an amount of solid stability in economy (and all of the subelements - growth rates, national budget, foreign trade, inflation, interest etc etc) is what secures a strong currency...as thats what makes it attractive to stash reserves in it and make huge longterm investments.

...and...comparing US and EURO economy. The USD will face hard times, if something radical aint done in the US. The deficits are seemingly out of control and thereŽs alot of other signs of fairly fundamental imbalance I think.

I smile when the dollar goes up....but in my opinion it wouldnt be a wise place to invest your savings anytime soon.

Machete_ 06-01-2005 12:29 PM

the euro will not fluctuate... The EU contries will make support-buyups to stabalice it. Its one of fundamentals in the aggrement

pornguy 06-01-2005 12:31 PM

Just wait until Bish trys to make the dollar like the Euro.

absix 06-01-2005 12:32 PM

Do some reading ;)

I hope...

"The euro has begun a long-term slide and could drop below a dollar within 18 months, according to a client note issued yesterday by Morgan Stanley."

Hinc 06-01-2005 12:43 PM

Interesting read absix.
IŽm not sure I agree with the analysis, as its based on "political aspects" baring heavier weight than "economical aspects" - but but, I certainly hope youŽll get the chance to say "told ya so" in 18 month :)

Scott McD 06-01-2005 12:46 PM

Of course this won't happen. The US is indebted far too much for the dollar to exceed the euro in value. But nevertheless I agree with you:
FUCK THE EURO.

Trafficbrokercom 06-01-2005 02:15 PM

I wouldn't give a shit about what Morgan Stanley's analysts say.

Don't you remember the big scandal not too long ago where MS was fined more than $1bn ?

Investment Firms go short on the Euro and THEN send out client notes that the Dollar will rise. That's nothing that has to do with "analysing".

The whole market is more and more controlled by Hedge Funds. I am just waiting for the day that the biggest Hedge Funds will start trading against the USD and send it to 2 Euros.

The current situation is just based on some sells from cowardish small fund managers.

Wait for the Euro to get back to 1.50 in a very short time.

spideriux 06-01-2005 02:40 PM

hehe . USD is growing
