theatre as in the movie theatre??

no it's not sad..the movies is about the most anti-social thinga anyone can do so why not go by yourself?? I know tons of ppl who do it..:)

I've never done it but I don't think it's that bad. I'd prefer more people go alone when I go so I would know that they would keep their mouths shut during the movie.

i go to the movies alone all the time. nothing wrong with it.

I have one, but she never wants to see the movies i wanna see. Mostly the scary ones. I missed The Ring 2, The Grudge, Alien vs Predator, all because i basically had nobody to go with.

Tonight, i wondered what harm it would do in going myself, (i've still to see Star Wars :winkwink: )

I go to the theatre and cinema alone quite alot. I live by two great cinemas. One that shows obscure european films and one that does the mainstream. Often on the way back from work I pop in on my own.

Not a bad thing at all. I do it all the time. Its kinda a great thing to do last minute. Plus, there is nothing more anti-social then the movies. I mean, you dont talk to people really anyways.


People are sometimes way to concerned about doing things on there own. Its your life, enjoy it. You dont need to wait on someone else to have a good time.

i saw hitch hikers guide to the galaxy by myself...seems no one else read the book as a kid

I used to be such a movie freak that I would hit the theatres alone in LA at like 10-11 am watch 1 or 2 movies then go by and pick up friends and go back and watch another one with them...LOL

There was a time when there was nothing showing I had not seen so I started hitting all the art houses like the Nuart on Santa Monica.

I love going alone.

That's my favorite thing to do when my fiance is out of town. I love taking in movies alone.
