2257 and Toon/Hentai niche
 

As far as I understand, all the Toon and Hentai sites (even free sites, thumb CJ and TGP ones) don't have to follow 2257, because:
1) Toons don't have the id's (at least today :winkwink:)
2) Toons can't sign the model release agreement (it's hard to believe, but they're unable to sign the papers)

Am I correct?

It's 100% true though cartoons & CGI Renders (3D Toons) have been and are forever exempt from the 2257 drama. with that said make sure you check out our 3D toon program at http://plane***ash.com ;)

I see the toon/anime niche get many more promoters. Toon/anime would be the ONLY content I would have on a site of mine if I decided to use content.

I might have to see if i can do some damage with toons... i might be able to make it work. With the new ::cough:: 2257 ::cough:: laws it would be pretty tite to not have to worry about 2257. =)

Guys, I'm sorry to have to tell you this, but 2257 also applies to toon/hentai content. It is now mandatory for the artist to draw both an id and a model release with every set.
