Some Rule Changes For Teeniefiles And Sublime Directory
 

Hey guys, just wanted to let you know that Teeniefiles will be instituting a new rule due to the new 2257 laws coming into effect.

All preview thumbs starting today must be SOFTCORE. Here are some examples of the thumb previews that are acceptable and unacceptable.

Also at the bottom of every gallery on Teeniefiles and Sublime Directory there must be outgoing 2257 links. Here is an example of a gallery that has this kind of link.

can I just list the 2257 url as text and not have it being linked. The reason is tgp scripts will pick it up as another outgoing link and some have limits on that.

Well these paid spots are inputted manually. I think Teeniefiles will make an exception for that. I will check on that asap :)

The guys from Sublime Directory/Teeniefiles are always ahead of the game when it comes to legal issues and such. They are in the game for the long run :thumbsup

Odd that they want a 2257 link on every gallery when the law only requires one to be on the root/homepage of the domain.

Or I do belive they said major entry points.

Nope....home page of the domain or subdomain (blah.domain.com)

They originally wanted the compliance statement and custodian of records listed on the home page, but in the revised regs said that a link to that information was sufficient.

Ok I know that's an example but that's not really 2257 compliant if a submitter had a 2257 page like that. They have to have THEIR name and THEIR address on the 2257 info page. Not the primary producers.

But, I think the text link on the example gallery should read "18 U.S.C. 2257 Record-Keeping Requirements Compliance Statement" in order to be compliant.
