You may wish to contact me, I'm representing a company called SegPay as one of their Sales Directors.

SegPay stands for Segregated Payments. SegPay is a registered EU based Internet Paymenet Service Provider (IPSP) for online merchants of all kinds.

It is a whole new way for webmasters to view their payment security on the Internet. In the normal model of third party processing, the bank pays the processor, and then the processor distributes funds to the sub merchants. The traditional third party credit card processor typically held client funds for up to one month before releasing to their clients for payout, and if there is a problem, the processor has discretion as to which merchants get paid first. *Under the SegPay model, all client funds are held by the bank until the time of payout*. SegPay has contracted with a third party auditor to provide a full audit on client funds owed as well as facilitate the release of these funds. This way, online merchants can sleep at night knowing that their funds are safe and will be paid. *The processor never touches your money, it is paid from the bank, through the auditor and direct to the sub merchant.*

This segregation of funds is standard in the financial services industry; indeed, any failure to do so would be highly illegal. SegPay brings this important security facility to the eCommerce world.

SegPay has a state of the art system that provides real time credit card and check authorization services, automated password management systems, marketing tools, affiliate tracking, 24X7 real time sales reporting, and an online web interface to make account changes on the fly.

We have WEEKLY payouts, extremely competitive rates, and a very experienced staff that understand the needs of the webmaster/web merchant.

Please take a look at us:

I would like to have an opportunity to speak with you when you have a chance, and see if this is an opportunity that would interest you.

Welcome to the adult dating space, clayleeuk -- the simple is answer is: make sure your payment options reflect your customers. Of course reliability and cost are important concerns, but you'll be doing yourself a considerable disservice if you choose a payment option that doesn't resonate with your customer base. For example, VISA/MC is not the preferred method in many parts of the world. It's a a good idea to offer multiple options, centered on an understanding of who your customers are.

And Mike Sperber IS a god man to talk to regarding online payments.

Are you coming to San Diego? There will probably be steak there... :winkwink:

I'd throw getting a true merchant account into the fray and have full control of your funds. There are even some options out there that allow for little or no rolling reserves.

If this is something that interests you, my contact info is listed below :)

Clay

Ibill - personally I wouldn't touch them after the problems others have had with them over the past year.
Paypal - they don't allow for any adult processing although you'd have to check on dating sites .. I think they are a 'no' for it though.

FilthyRob 06-02-2005 04:15 PM

I would go;

CCbill or Epoch - both in either order.

I know people doing epoch first, ccbill second, and visa Versa

iBill EU and Segpay both work with Inteca?

JoeS 06-02-2005 05:15 PM

SegPay looks interesting but at 10% rolling reserve of 7 months I think is way to high and too long for someone to hold my money.

JoeS

NETbilling 06-02-2005 05:23 PM

Keep Netbilling in mind and let us know if you have any questions.

Thank you, Mitch Farber

directfiesta 06-02-2005 05:34 PM

Forget Paypal .. If tyhey decide unilaterally that you are in breach of their terms, they seize your money and terminate you.

I will not get into Segpay & Ibill, aside from saying that Ibill has started to be on track for the past 60 days ... I love getting lost money.

Payxcom is great.

But look into your own merchant account ( netbilling ).

I suppose that is correct in a certain way....except NOT in how YOU are thinking.

Chris Williams is running SegPay. Chris left the management of Ibill over 3 1/2 years ago (Before Intercept owned Ibill).

So if you are thinking this is some "other front" for Ibill.... It isn't.

Gottis 06-03-2005 07:38 AM

When is Epoch EU gonna launch?

Kimmykim 06-03-2005 08:02 AM

Interesting Mike, and congrats on the new gig -- see you in San Diego :)

I can do daily payouts from the bank on IPSP accounts with any volume. And of course merchant accounts for those that are ready and able to manage them.
