Can't say with any accuracy Kris. The only thing that is already known this that net users in countries outside the US exceed US users. But, there are other factors like availabiltiy of payment methods blah... which obviously have an effect on conversions.

afx 06-04-2005 05:42 PM

Cc sales are strongly US - about 80%
traffic is 60:40 (us:non-us)

Niko 06-05-2005 04:49 AM

80% US & Canada
20% rest of the world

BRISK 06-05-2005 05:26 AM

Asking people what % of their sales are non-US is fairly irrelevant if you don't know which sites they run. Maybe they run sites in German, Japanese, or Spanish and very few of their sales come from the US? Simply asking for a % is misleading if you don't know who their site is targetted towards.

For example - www.99bb.com - These guys probably get over 80% of their sales from non-US countries, and 99bb is HUGE.

Compare them to www.californiaporn.com who probably get over 80% of their sales from the US

and www.videosdesexe.com probably gets over 80% of their sales from France

and www.tienersexfilms.nl probably gets over 80% of their sales from The Netherlands

Simply asking where someones % of sales come from can be misleading

It varies month to month, but I'd say it's easily 25%, and somemtimes as high as 40%. I get a lot of Italy, German, and UK. But also a few from all over the place, including the middle east. But varies from month to month.

:pimp

Judas_Hansen 06-05-2005 08:52 AM
