I make money to live comfortably and feel safe.
When I make significantly more than I need, then it's a nice extra.

After your first $500K you realize that even if the money's taken away from you, you have what it takes to succeed and can make that money again. Success is a state of mind. It isn't luck. So I'd have to say, I make money BECAUSE I live. It's a byproduct. It's not the goal. The goal, for me, is to live life fully each and every day. Each challenge I overcome just adds to my bankroll. It's a nice touch, but not the end goal.
