Yo, I'm about to sign up for the Gold Executive membership. If you have a Costco account I'll sign up under you so you can get a commission. I hate to see a bargain go putz. I would ask family but I have like 50 million of them in N and S America and it would be heck to pay if I chose cousin 'joe' over cousin 'bob'.

I had one for a few years but the nearest one is 60+ miles away. It just wasn't worth it for the once or twice a year I went there.

Well I had neglected to get a Costco card. I wasn't thinking thrifty enough. Since I've gotten back into warehousing and merchandising ( comic books, toys ) I've found out so many friggin' bargains it's ridiculous! I can't believe how many deals there are for just about everything! So a pal of mine plays pro football. He gave me his Costco thing to sign up under him and I never did. He's left Costco for some reason so I'm just checking with other people. If you get the new executive gold membership you get health insurance too! It's un-freakin' believeable! Just saw it on the news too.

I needed one anyway so it's just $100 a year, you get roadside assistance and many other discounts. I like to layer business benefits so with NASE, Costco, various credit cards, alumni, press passes etc. I shouldn't have to pay for hotels, cars, houses, forever.

One cool deal I just snagged is a pals in real estate. i don't need no down payments! It's fucking crazy the real estate deals out here I could literally buy a state of the art home, no money down, no payments except interest for 5 years but if I design and build I ain't gotta pay jack as mypals love when I do home designs and shit.

I am totally relearning business and benefits etc. cool!

I saw the outdoor restaurant at our Costco but I thought that was a 'mall' thing. I didn't know every Costco had one. The one in my neighborhood is PACKED with people all the friggin' time. It's like a carnival or something. I will check it out and get me some chow.

When I got to Guadalajara, I got a Costco card because they had a camera I wanted. I had been looking at it for about a month. A damned fine price (even in Mexico) for a solid digital camera.

I was at the checkout station. The gal swipes my CC and hands me the ticket to sign. It's TWICE THE PRICE listed on the display (that's been there for AT LEAST, a month!).

Of course, I said "Fuck NO! And, Fuck YOU!" I had just bought the friggin' membership card and they were pulling this shit on me. And, to boot, I couldn't get a refund on my CC because, as they said, "...it takes a couple of weeks for the banks to turn it around." What bullshit.

So, NO. I don't spend one centavo at Costco. Happy shopping!

Costco is the shit. Especially if you have a business account with them. I dont pay tax on anything. And they have a great return policy. You can return laptops used after 6mos. :1orglaugh

Your essentials are what's worth the bargain. Printers, scanners, flashlights, camping and travelling stuff.

I don't bs when it comes to camping and survival gear. It's got to be top of the line and tested by pros. Don't wanna be out in the woods and have to fight shit and have shit break on you.

Soon as I sign up I'll go visit and see what my local Costco has to offer. I wasn't too impressed with their main website though. Didn't see anything in numbers or in discounts I couldn't get at Best Buy for cheaper. That's the battle right there. Best Buy vs Costco. The battle will take place next week when I go shopping for a new printer/fax and video camera.

Costco is a great deal and they actually treat and pay their employees fairly unlike walmart/sams

We have costco and sams. But I did not know they were doing an aff program.

I have a Sams and a Costco nearby, I used to shop at the Sams all the time, but the place redid its aisles and you can't move around with a flatbed if the dolts who aren't shopping for business leave their carts in the aisle, at Costco you can.

The prices at Costco are way cheaper, but I still find myself running to Sams for a few things here and there.

Costco rocks I try not to go too often, I usually end up spending a few hundred dollars on crap.
