i watched caligula for the first time when i was about 14 -- it's quite the "film" -- :) -- not too many movies with bob guccione's name on them - -lol - which will explain the preponderance of penthouse models in the "cast" --i wasn't so much sickened, as shaken-up (in the intellectual sense) -- it was the first time i remember knowing for certain the degree to which sex pervades everything -- turning point, you might say.

I think it was really that way in Rome before... crazy!
