You don't need to SHOW them what you do - but IMHO honesty IS the best policy with family and friends. As long as parents can see their kids doing well, happy and healthy, and not breaking the law they tend to be happy for that.. :2 cents:

if you choose to make a buck producing really nasty shit that degrades others, or appears non-consensual you will suffer the social consequences---you may not care about this, but there will be social consequences.

and if you produce content that is beautiful, that shows models having a good time, showing activities that ordinary people do in a loving manner (no matter how explicit) your family and neighbors' gossip will be slightly different.

the social consequences will be more beneficial to you if you take the high road.

my parents have seen my celeb sites, nothing to worry about there but as for the hardcore sex, i wouldn't care for them to see it. i doubt my dad would care much but i know my mom wouldn't like it.
