Yep, I got here on Saturday.. Even though it's winter here it's still quite beautiful.

All the guys and ladies at SexyAds have been so helpful in showing me the ropes. I'll have to post a nice roo picture that I took.

It's been raining here where I live in Australia for the last three days straight, and been very bloody cold.

Yeah it's been rainy since Sunday here and kinda chilly. Far cry from the humid temps in Georgia..

Actually Wagga is one of the safest places in Australia on a Friday and Saturday night.

Walk down the main street and the police truck cruises by - 5 minutes later the Military Police from Kapooka cruise by in their truck - 5 minutes after that the Military Police from the RAAF base cruise by in their truck - 5 minutes after that the procession starts all over again.

Darkhorse - the only reason it was raining up there was because we were moving house down here where it was raining even harder

Melbourne
The Grampains (Victoria-2-3 hours or so from Melb)-awesome wildlife and mountains
The Great Ocean Road (start at Torquay, 1.5 hours from Melb) and follow right through.

Hi, just curious what aspects you are referring to that make you miss home? And which city are you in? I'm thinking about heading that way for an extended stay.

I spent 2 days in Wagga Wagga, and I don't know why so many people talk badly about it. I didn't notice anything bad about the place. It's just a normal small town. Maybe it's a little boring, but you could say the same thing about 1000 other small towns too.

At least it has a zoo, bars, restaurants, airport, shopping mall, etc... I've been to much more boring towns than Wagga Wagga.

I do believe that we're going to melbourne this weekend ;)
