*** 2257ware.com is proud to introduce and release 2257MAVIS ***

June 21, 2005
2257ware.com - Dayton, Ohio

2257ware.com is proud to introduce the 2257MAVIS Model Age Verification and Identification System.

What is MAVIS?

MAVIS is a local Windows based software application that can store and report your 2257 compliance records. Using a proprietary database format MAVIS allows user's to enter data into the system using intuitive forms and prompts. Your data populates easy to read display windows with all pertinent data relevant to models, production, and URLs.

All information is cross-referenced and easily searchable using browse forms by different search criteria.

Currently MAVIS stores the following information...

Model's information by;
Model's first, last, and maiden name
Model's date of birth
Model's alias names
Models unique system ID (used for data replication)
Picture ID of model
Affidavit (if required) proving model's age if necessary

Production information by;
Media Type (.jpg, .gif, .wmv., .mov, etc.)
Production date
Publication date
URL History(s)
Path to local stored copy of the content

URL information by;
Model
Alias
Production

MAVIS has a reporting module available that will print a report based on any model entered into the system and their corresponding productions and URLs. A copy of the model's ID is also displayed on the printed report. Future releases of AVIS will include a label printer should you need to print model information onto a standard size mailing label for a physical copy of your content (i.e. instead of having a local digital copy on a hard drive).

What MAVIS is not...

MAVIS is not a CMS for your model related data. MAVIS stores and reports ONLY those details required by 18 USC 2257. You cannot store any model contracts or any other non-required information within the system. 18 USC 2257 is very clear about segregating 2257 records, and we have built the system to comply with the law as printed.

How do you get MAVIS?

You can go to www.2257ware.com and register for an account, then send us a message through the site with your contact details and we will get you taken care of as soon as possible. You may also e-mail directly to [email protected]. We should have a shopping cart set up by tonight for immediate on-line transactions, and at that time PayPal will be accepted as a payment option.

How much is MAVIS?

MAVIS is currently priced at $50.00US. For each paid licensed copy, we are donating $20.00 of the sale to the Free Speech Coalition to help fund the fight for our rights in this industry.

Does MAVIS have any support options?

Yes, MAVIS is supported by e-mail, and we have a message board setup to share information back and forth with users. Users are asked to use the message board for support, we will be monitoring it closely to resolve any issues.

Are you ready to meet MAVIS?

Thanks Mutt. We wanted to keep it reasonable in cost, easy to use, and as intuitive as possible, and I think we accomplished all that and more.

pradaboy 06-21-2005 11:43 AM

excellent stuff... great price too!

shermo 06-21-2005 03:23 PM

This is quite a product and it has the features we need to be compliant. My question is whether or not we will be able to integrate existing records from a previous release into upcoming releases (from version to version)?

crockett 06-21-2005 03:27 PM

Did you ever release the version you were working on for TGPs?

jaYMan 06-21-2005 03:27 PM

newbreed is this yours?

looks to make the whole compliance thing less of a headache.

DWB 06-21-2005 03:42 PM

Man... all these people up in Dayton and we never get together for a single drink or lap dance. Shame.

Hey jaYMan, I just got back. Yes indeed it's ours. Hit me up for more info if you are interested in any of the data replication features (for your affiliates).

It will be the same version of the software, but will use a different kind of spider. We'll release details soon on the different server spiders available.

I appreciate the great offer, and could always use the money, but seriously Bro, you can do the dances for free for me. I'm super-cool like that, I would never ask anyone to actually pay to perform for me... :1orglaugh :1orglaugh :1orglaugh

Hey Sherm, you know I got you covered on that man. Just don't erase anything from your old install and we will come out with a conversion utility to update your records.

Hi Sherm,
To answer your question, yes from this version forward. If you have been inputting records in the previous beta releases there will be some conversion issues.
You can run the program with your existing data files and if there have been any database structure changes that affect your files they will be automatically applied.

VeriSexy 06-21-2005 05:41 PM

Looks like good software :thumbsup
