yeah they are called dynamic pages. most use databses. a blog is pretty much the same thing

The example you showed uses "rewrite_mod" to take urls like :
www.eportal.dk/linksystem/default. asp?catid=245&cattitle=Underholdning+&+Spil
and spit them out like SE-freindly uls : http://www.eportal.dk/linksystem/som...o_content.html
