That video is really interesting. It's cool to see how the movie studios market for sponsorship.

nice job! who do you send that out to/ make a video like that for?

I was hired by a company that builds promo spots for the studios.

Basically, a production company will hire a promotions company (who in turn hired me) to edit a video and a presentation package to send to sponsors like Pepsi, Coke, BMW, Mercedes, Motorolla, Apple computers, they send it to everyone from earring manufacturers to car companies to fragrance comanies... everyone that makes something that can be sold gets a DVD and a promo package.

Most likely smaller companies will just get the DVD, and larger companies will get bigger packages. But I'm not sure about that I just edited the video and authored the DVD for the promo.

I use Vegas Video and on this project I was forced to push my understanding of the program to a higher level. I learned more tricks on this project than I ever have before.

The company does not need to get permission as I found out. I thought the same thing, but they said that as long as it's not for commercial use you can use anything.
