Help me choose a new Company Logo...
So I'm completely redesigning our company website - here's a quick sample of the new look for the site:
http://cuttingedgedesigns.com/flash.htm I'm trying to create a new logo that matches the new design: something hi-tech, professional and cutting edge. Of course, the logo should be easily reproducible for other media as well (t-shirts, flyers, business cards, etc.) Some of these logos have been chromed out, with extreme perspective & 3D effects, ('cuz I think that fits the look of the site), but all can be scaled back to 2 color basic logos... Thanks. :thumbsup http://cuttingedgedesigns.us/cuttingedgelogos.jpg |
i like #3- only b/c it reminds me of the old robocop "ocp" logo...
http://www.ljplus.ru/img/_alick_/ocp-logo1.gif 9 looks the most corporate/professional... and 7, the one you're using now, methinks is saying "hey, i took a class in photochop!" dump it! you want your logo to be recognizable in black & white, in a relief... whatever. and vector, vector... never know where you're gonna want it. think pepsi swirl... nike swoosh.. identifiable without reading. :thumbsup |
Logo 5 :)

Take #3 and put the text like
Cutting Edge Designs |
I like #3 to.

My personal faves right now are 9 and 3 (and their angled 3D versions) - I'll probably just animate it on the site to flip from an angle to straight on. :2 cents: |
1 more bump :winkwink:
|
#9 is the best in my opinion because it is the most professional. However #11 looks like it would be good for pages inside the site for people while they're clicking around.
|
Is that a template?
|
#3 is probably the most brandable but I'd make the edges darker so that it's easier to see/recognize further away.
|
I like the number 4 one..good job
|
I like number 11 because it looks sharp like it can cut. But I do like 3 also.
|
3 looks cool... better if it's 3d..
|
I am not really kean on any of them. Sorry.
|
#4 followed by #10. Those two have more of an impact and will stick in the minds of (potential) customers longer. The others look boring and/or cheap. :2 cents:
|
Actually, #11 is good too. :)
|
I prefer # 9

Nothing about the logos shown so far says to me, "Cutting Edge".
How about putting it on a sword or laser? The words themselves convey something graphic, so see if you can come up with something which captures the name both in text but also in graphics. Another thought is that instead of having a reverse "c" abutting the forward facing "c" character (which in my opinion cancels out both "c" characters), to instead have an elongated "c" go flush to the edge of the "e" (with the "c" sort of enveloping the "e'). Good luck, ADG Webmaster |
i like 7, would look good on a hat or tshirt
|
Logo #5 for many reasons.
A simple Marketing class will tell you why. |
#2 gets my vote, that's the cleanest logo for me...

none of them really have that spark for me

all are pretty good, but i like number 10.
|
I like 4, but take the Cutting Edge Designs off of the "E" and put it underneath the logo
|
These look like AdultRMX's designs...
