In compliance with the United States Code, Title 18, Section 2257, all models, members and other persons who appear in any visual depiction of sexually explicit conduct appearing or otherwise contained in or at www.iwantu.com were over the age of eighteen at the time of the creation of such depictions.

For all current, and future affiliates of IwantU.com

Due to the recent changes in the law concerning USC 2257, the owners and operators of IwantU.com made some changes to the Terms of Service reference to the promotional content used by affiliates. However this law will not affect the content/profiles of IwantU.com since IwantU.com is not a US based company.

It will only affect the content of the promotional banners offered to the affiliates.

Due to this act, we have removed all banners deemed SEXUALLY EXPLICIT from our websites, servers, or networks for the purpose of promotion.

For the US based affiliates we will continue to provide banners showing limited nudity but will no longer show explicit material or anything resembling that.

We will automatically replace our hosted banners with 2257 compliant ones that will automatically replace your current ones. You do not need to replace any code on your site, we will upload new ones for you.

We are fortunate that most of our current banners already comply with the law. They are mostly erotic but not hardcore or sexually explicit content. For this reason, these changes should not have a huge impact on our affiliates, however if you have any concerns or questions regarding certain promo tools, please contact your account manager and they will be happy to assist you in any possible way.

If you would like us to host your custom websites on our servers, we would be happy to provide that as an additional service to any of you as well.

On a side note, does anyone here know anything further about what US-based sites will do for their profile photos yet?

Pretty much everyone has announced their affiliate promo content plans, but I have yet to see an official statement on what they intend to do with their own site content (mainly profile photos)?
