200 people viewing a 60 minute video streamed at 300kbps - how many gigs of bandwidth would be used?

you're asking about volume or # of gigs
so first convert to number of kilobytes
300/8 = 37.5KB/sec = 1 stream
* 200 streams = 7.5Megabytes/sec
7.5MB * 60 secs * 60 min = 27GB
