HA HA HA... You had me at Miles Davis. Kind Of Blue is one of my favorite CDs of all time.

I met my wife, who was designing a Miles album cover in Japan, because of our mutual admiration of his music. We play his music every anniversary, and many, many, other times as well (personally, I really like his 50's music...Walkin', Cookin', Relaxin', etc., especially his work with John Coltrane, who was the best sax player of his time).

Although Bitches Brew and Agartha are also stand out albums.

Kind of Blue, Sketches of Spain...if you don't know Miles, you need to.

I met my wife through Miles as well. Sketches is awesome as are the other that Gil Evans arranged. Meaty orchestrations.

I used to have a couple Japanese imports that were just outstanding-Dark Magus is the one I think. It is much like Live Evil. Pop on the headphones and forget 'bout it.
