Thats essentially it, and that is a reasonable deal.

While technically this would only apply to FSC members, realistically it will apply to everyone.

Just to support the cause, we should all be members of the FSC. Not that we would be blanketed under them, but because it's right to support the people fighting our battle.

how do you figure? if that's the deal, they are saying they will wait until the case is argued in court. if the FSC loses that case, are you saying the regs stating that June 23rd is the effective date will not be applicable?

the regulations went into effect at midnight this morning.

the fsc filed a lawsuit saying they are bullshit

apparently the DOJ agreed to not enforce the regulations until the lawsuit is dealt with in court

now, if the FSC coalition loses the suit - the regulations stand as of June 23rd 2005.

anyone who is not compliant TODAY and gambling on the result of the lawsuit has huge balls.

Sounds good, but I predict this will only result in people putting off what should already be done, so that in the event the FSC fails in its lawsuit people will be wailing once again that they did not have enough time to become compliant.

Not enforcing the regs now means the DOJ will not investigate anyone until the case is settled. Which means they can't use any info against you that was acquired during the agreement because they will have violated the agreement by investigating you. DUH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :1orglaugh
