Sonofsam - could you please write about how you got processing?

I remember reading that since you were a Canadian you couldn't get processing through CCbill without a principle in the US.

How did you avoid that with paycom??

I appreciate any info you can share, I am opening up a little paysite, and have this problem.

thnx

He incorporated in the US, that was the Paycom requirement.

WarChild 07-17-2005 01:22 PM

Paycom Europe should be available now. Don't register in the US, register in the UK if you're Canadian.

I think I did too, but surely it has to be ready or pretty damned near ready by now. It's been coming for so long now ...

It is, there's a good thread today discussing how Paycom EU accepts Euro-centric debit cards. Can't seem to find it now...

webgurl 07-17-2005 01:38 PM

yes it is there already :) PaycomEU

WarChild 07-17-2005 01:45 PM

Form a company in the UK: http://www.jordans.co.uk/jordans3.ns...any+formations

Sign up with paycomEU. Of notable interest, you shouldn't have to pay Visa registration fee of $750, and that's just for starters. :)

Dont Paycom requires a principal living in the US or EU.. ?

Tempest 07-17-2005 01:55 PM

Here's a couple previous threads about this topic. Basically, you don't want to go thru the US. You want to go Asian or EU.

Do both. It is a small price to pay when you consider the ROI.

That I can't tell you, because I just formed in the UK myself.

I do know, that in Canada, you don't have to pay double taxes. So if you pay X amount of taxes in the UK, that amount is detuctible from your Canadian taxes.

As always, check with a professional. Accountants are relatively cheap for the service they provide! :2 cents:

I'm sure the Dept. Of Taxation in England will collect taxes from you. Seems silly to think that you can form a company in their country and not have to pay taxes. Why would any other company have to pay taxes if you are allowed not to? Find a location in Europe that is tax free such as Gibraltar, Isle of Man, etc.

thats why i asked because it didn't seem that site offered formation of companies in tax free regions

I used an incorporation company to form an LLC in the states...

also you need to order Mail forwarding with it.... for me the total came to 830US..

you need the mail forwarding because if you have a canadian address in your domain whois you won't make it through compliance at paycom... also you can't put a canadian address on your contract or on the visa registration... so thats where the mail forwarding address comes in... then you apply for a TAX ID from the IRS and that takes about 4-6 weeks to come... that is the most annoying thing, waiting for the tax id... so don't wait to do it, do it right away....

if you have any other questions, feel free to ask because i know how frustrating it was for me when i was trying to figure out these very same questions..

best of luck :thumbsup

edit: and btw... i wanted to incorporate in EU but jordans.co.uk took well over 1 month to return my email, so there was no way i would go through them personally because i was afraid if it took them that long to reply to an email that it would take them even longer to get me set up
