:( I just bent my Pontiac Firebird around a tree last night going about 60mph with a driver side impact... going home from the bars, ended up going to the hospital. Dont drink and drive is a good reminder message for everyone.

I think it's worse if there are more people involved.
I rather have a drunk driver hit a tree then kill someone on a bike or in another car.

Take a taxi or go by bike or so but don't drink and drive is just stupid as hell.

I went to the grey bar hotel for doing the same thing awhile back.. Wasn't even my car.. Lesson learned..

A buddy of mine, who's had one hell of a rough life has been convicted five times. He has been clean and running his own buisness for about 11 years now. He has literally been from hell and back. For the longest time, if he didn't have something, he'd just go out and steal it, but then he got shot seven times one night while trying to break into a guys car...

From that point on, he began changing his life. He had been a drug addict and had pneumonia several times, but now he runs a succesfull buisness (he couldn't get a job, cause of a lengthy rap sheet) that brings in about $750,000 grand a year.

He is a hell of a guy, and damn does he have some awful stories.

I drove home drunk the other night very stupid of me I know one of these days I'm going to end up paying for it. Some of us like to learn the hard way I guess.

a guy i went to highschool with killed an ex-highschool mate of mine 2 weeks ago in my hometown.. my mate was walking home with his girlfriend when the other guy pulled up and offered them a lift... they're both dead now cause he was drunk and wrapped their bodies around a tree.. he'll get 8 or so years.. i hope he gets ass fucked. There should be public beatings for drink drivers.. fucking idiots.

Did you do research regarding this issue? Never forget that the media needs to make a profit too. Many things they publish are to attract customers. Never judge too fast....... Anyhow it's always very sad when innocent people are getting killed by a drunk driver

Well thanks for your concern for those of you who don't wish me dead. AND I'm not really upset to those who did...

But really this whole thing has put me through alot of stress and I honestly feel horrible for what I did and I AM an idiot. No one was hurt but me, my best friend was in the passenger seat she walked away with nothing. And it was a back country road with nothing but trees - so at least I didn't have a chance to hit innocents.

No, I was in one of those "learn from your mistakes and tell ppl" moods. Its still a good reality check - I'm done, later.
