wtffff i hate new laptops outlook express
 

yo i did all the updates
it said my IE was upated and all that
and i cant get this damn outlook express to install
i download it from download.com
it downloads a .bin file . WTF?!
the only email client on this pc is a demo version of ms office outlook that im not gonna pay for that crap

microsoft.com says you need to install IE to get outlook

Are you sure it isn't already installed?

Goto Start -> Run -> msimn.exe

Outlook is soooo evil... use Eudora or Thunderbird.

C:\Program Files\Outlook Express\msimn.exe

For some reason Outlook deletes the shortcut to Outlook Express.

fuck some outlook, i been a loyal outlook fan for years and they slowly got worse over the years.. I switched to thunderbird with the minimize to tray extension and im loving it, Unlike firefox it doesnt run like a retarded kid with a broken leg!

Your install of windows must be broken. Every copy of windows comes with outlook. You shouldn't have to download anything.

If you install the Outlook that comes with the Office package, the shortcut to Outlook Express is deleted.

Thunderbird is great, my friend all e-mails in inbox was deleted by this bullshit program today, and he didnt do anything, just ran Thunderbird at the morning and saw that he have nothing in inbox. Really great.
